Finally, there is a cure for traffic.
Chemistry that comes out naturally between two people creates a human bonding that results to marriage, lifetime friendship, or a partnership attracting the admiration of other people. Well, the colorful tandem of FM radio jocks Nicole Hyala and Chris Tsuper certainly has that seal of friendship and popularity, at the very least. Though it is still uncertain for them to find each other at the end of the romantic road, to most people they are already a couple.
So evident is the chemistry between the two DJs they never thought their impromptu on–air chat one ordinary morning would give birth to a lovable tandem out of the blue. Now, they’re painting the town red (and green?) with spontaneous jokes and contagious laughter.
Their tandem, now popularly known as "Tambalang Balahura at Balasubas" has become an effective ‘cure’ for people sick of the morning rush and traffic woes. With their distinctive laughs and irresistibly funny punchlines during traffic reports, the two are unconsciously becoming idols in their own right, having developed for themselves a multitude of fans not normally pinned on the shirts of FM radio broadcasters.
"Kakaiba siguro talaga ang timplada ng tambalan namin ni Nicole," tells 25-year-old Adrian Policena, the voice behind the ‘driver, sweet lover’ Chris Tsuper. He added with a smile, "Hindi kami naglalaglagan. Instead of making it too serious, sinasagot namin ang mga tanong ng listeners through wacky jokes wherein makaka-relate pa rin sila."
